Stát blahobytu ve Spolkové republice Německo
Jadrná, Nikola
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out, how sustainable is the present welfare state in the Federal Republic of Germany. The development of the German welfare state is described from its beginning in the 19th century to its present form. The analysis of the welfare state's sustainability compares the development of government expenditures on social and retirement provision between 1991 and 2016 and the development of GDP between 1970 and 2017. These analyzes are complemented by a prediction of development over the next three or four years. It also takes into account the specificities of the divergent developments in the East and West Federal states. Part of the work is also estimated demographic development of the population. It has been found that there is a steady increase in social spending and, in particular, the growth of its most important item, pensions. In the meanwhile, the average age is increasing and decreasing birth rates, resulting in a change in the age structure of the population. These parameters represent in the future a prospect in the field of sustainability of the German welfare state.

Holders of economical politics on the regional level, their role and possibilities in the optimal adjustment of old age pensions scheme
BEDNÁŘ, Jan
Ph.D. thesis called "Holders of economical politics on the regional level, their role and possibilities in the optimal adjustment of old age pensions scheme" deals with the possibilities of a general solution for pension insurance in the scope of the region. The possibilities of the regional pension insurance system in the real conditions of the Czech Republic are described and analyzed, as it is difficult to transfer pension insurance systems from one country to another as a whole. Possible roles and possibilities of the region when dealing with the problem of old age pension insurance were defined on the basis of performed analyses. A specific outcome of this project represents the definition of conditions which must be satisfied if the public fund of Regional old age pension system should function. Its operation in the framework of second pillar of pension system seems like the optimal solution. The specific solution contains also the mathematical model of functioning of the regional pension scheme under defined conditions, which simulates possible development of the fund and the amount of old age pension received by the contributor provided he satisfies the defined requirements for entitlement to old age pension.
Analysis of equivalence among different income groups in the Czech pension system
Vojtová, Magdaléna ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
This master's thesis deals with the principles of solidarity and equivalence in the Czech pension system, analyzes all the factors which affect the level of equivalence and examines their current settings in the pension system of the Czech Republic. Although there are many variables, that play an important role in the system, salary reduction limits seems to be the most important one. Therefore, great attention is paid to this topic -- the impact of the reduction limits during the pension benefits calculation under the various income groups. In recent years there have been implemented several reforms of the system, but the equivalence is still very low after all. While the standard of living of low-income people after retirement remains the same or even increases, the standard of living of middle- and higher-income groups decreases enormously. The thesis continuously evaluates the economic impact of individual actions and parametric reforms on different income groups and on this basis suggests possible changes and solutions that should lead to higher equivalence of the pension systém.
